The adults/teenager class has grown to a really good size. I would like to say well done to David from the Dereham club who travels every Monday so he can train twice a week. The teenagers have really settled in, and are working hard on their syllabus. Fingers crossed for the first time in many years I will have an impressive turn out from my dojos at the last adult grading for this year in December. I must admit it is great when the class is busy, and they have a really good session. Well done to all my students for the tremendous support they give to the club every week.
As always the guys are working towards their grading at the end of the year, and of course we have plenty of cardio session to make sure they are keeping their fitness up. This is going to be a short report as not much has changed since four weeks ago at the club.
As everyone was told in the lessons, please remember that no more sheets will be handed out the lesson. All the information about events and dates is on the events calendar on the website for you to write down in your diaries.
One final reminder to all my students, please can you visit our website as much as possible as I submit reports every month about the students training during the last month. This is a great opportunity to see if you have been mentioned or are in a photo. Plus you can comment on all the reports and share them to your Facebook pages. The website is there for everyone to keep up to date with what is happening and any future dates or events that will be happening, all these can be found on the events calendar and the grading calendar.
For the first time since I became a full time instructor back in November 2000, I had the honour to present two brothers with their six year trophy awards. Ben and Jack have always been very dedicated students and always give it 100% during their lessons. It is always a special moment, but especially when two brothers who have continued to train week after week for six years.
I look forward to seeing Ben take his first adult grading in December, along with many of my adults for the first time.
