I would like to start this month off by saying a big well done to Charlie Cooper in the infant class for becoming the Christmas student of the month. Charlie has been working hard and tries his very best in all aspects of Ju Jitsu. In the junior class I would like to say a big well done to Bell Jhugroo as she has been working extremely hard and always has a smile on her face. Being the only girl in the class she is one tuff cookie. Well done to both of you, and keep up the good work.
I can’t wait to see what 2016 brings and looking forward to the first student of the month of 2016!!!
This month has been very exciting as everyone has been getting into the Christmas spirt. With everyone looking forward to the holidays, this month has been more of a fun and games month, with the children enjoying different types of grappling, games and just going crackers. All three classes doing the same we have had all sorts of games from stuck in the snow, Santa said, Christmas corners and loads more. All the kids and even the parents have been having a good time watching their kids have fun doing Ju Jitsu in a Christmassy way.
I have been showing the classes some easy ways to get people down to the floor, and how to keep them down on the floor for a set amount of time, once everyone was happy with the take down and holds we then put it in to different games, and it went down really well. Towards the end of the month was the last lesson of the year which is just a lesson of games and sweets. And everyone has been looking forward to this lesson, as it is just a brilliant lesson with everyone joining in with all the games and one game everyone loved “do you want to build a snowman”.
We had 4 teams and each team had one person they had to turn in to a snowman, but they could only use toilet roll and a carrot. Each person in their team had 20seconds to use the toilet roll and cover their team mate and turn him or her in to a snowman or lady. And I have to say we have some amazing snowmen!! The parents had loads of fun taking pictures of their children as snowmen and I could not stop laughing. This was a grate end to the year, with loads of fun and loads of sweets.
I would like to thank everyone for all the lovely cards and gifts. I can’t wait for Christmas day to open them.
This year has been magical one. Thank you to all the students for making the class so much fun I am so proud to be your teacher. I would also like to thank all the parents for the support they have given the club, without you there wouldn’t be a Ju Jitsu club in Potters Bar.
I would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and have a wonderful New Year and I look forward to seeing everyone in the New Year.
I would like to say a big happy Birthday to Tomas Cheek as it was his Birthday on the last lesson of the year, and what a way to spend it by being covered in toilet paper.
Please remember that we are off for 2weeks now and we will be back in the New Year. The start back date is: Thursday 7th January 2016

We also have the new calendar page where you can have a look at upcoming events so you can plan ahead. You can also leave feedback on each of the reports or comment on your son/daughters club and share them to your Facebook pages.
If you have any questions or you are unsure of anything, please catch me at the club where I will be happy to help!
If you are on Facebook, please can you send me and Kevin Pell a friend request so if we need to pass on information quickly I can contact you, and when the reports go up I can share it to your Facebook page so you get it straight away…
