Potters Bar Ju Jitsu Club
Monthly Report, December 2014

This month I would like to start by saying a big well done to Riley Olson in the infant class and Tomas Cheek for the junior class on becoming this month’s student of the month. Both boys work hard in every lesson and always want to help within the lesson. Well done boys and keep up the good work.

This month both classes have been working really well, and to top off this year with an outstanding grading, we let this month be a fun and games month. With the build up to Christmas and everyone very excited the last 3 lessons of this month has been a mix of everything.

We started off the month with some of the students best moves from throwing, grappling and also locks. Both classes have been doing the same moves with the infant class trying out some new throws and locks. They have had loads of fun with this and putting 100% in to their training. With the last lesson of the year on the 18th December 2014 this lesson was all games from start to finish, letting all the kids have loads of fun for working so hard.

The games we played, from stuck in the mud to pin down bull dog, don’t just let the kids have fun but they are also learning and getting exercise in different ways. All the students got a Christmas card from Ishin Ryu Ju Jitsu with all the instructors singing the card.

This has been a brilliant year for the Potters Bar Thursday class from winning loads of medals in the Ishin Ryu grappling championships to all being so successful in their last grading’s of the year. I wish everyone a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year.

The last lesson of the year was on Thursday 18th December 2014, and the start back date in the New Year is Thursday 8th January 2015.
