On 10th September, 2016, long time Borehamwood student Kaajal Hirji took part in the Thames Path Challenge (100k) to raise money for Malaria No More UK

Kaajal undertook this charity walk in memory of her cousin sister, Anicca, who sadly passed away from malaria, at the age of 29.

Malaria is a serious and very deadly disease but completely preventable and curable. Yes it hits hardest on people in poverty, particularly children, but it can affect anyone who gets bitten by an infected mosquito. The only way we can save lives is by supporting the attempt to eradicate this deadly disease.

There is still time donate to this very worthy cause by visiting Kaajal’s Just Giving Page
