Finley Holloway, Tyler Rose and Isabelle Bradbury will be attempting their Black/White in class so will be required to work harder than the other infant students.

Cameron Bremner has made a very good progress to his training and is committed to the whole session, he has been working well with others and likes to train hard; well done Cameron, keep up the good work!

Poppy Baker, Max and Benedict Measures will be attempting their first belts and have made a cracking start, as each week they attend they will grow more in confidence and skill.

With the techniques that the students have been practicing we have seen some good progress, some weird and wonderful faces after techniques have been performed on them, but plenty of smiles…

We had some other exciting news in November when we celebrated with Soke Kevin Pell (Founder and Chief instructor) Sensei Trevor Steward (National Coach for Children’s Training) when they were invited to the Martial Arts Hall of Fame to receive their prestigious awards. It was a fantastic evening with all the senior grades in attendance. Soke Kevin Pell was awarded a LIFETIME achievement to martial arts WOW! Sensei Trevor received an award to his dedication to martial arts. Massive congratulations to them both!

Next month we look forward to the gradings, presentations and then calming down for Christmas, when all clubs will be closed to enjoy a good rest.

Please visit our website www.ishinryu.com as much as possible as I submit reports every month about the students training during the previous month. This is a great opportunity to see if you have been mentioned or appear in a photo.

We also have the new calendar page where you can have a look at upcoming events so you can plan ahead. You can also leave feedback on each of the reports or comment on your son/daughters club and share them to your Facebook pages.

If you have any questions or you are unsure of anything, please catch me at the club where I will be happy to help!

If you are on Facebook, please can you send me and Kevin Pell a friend request so if we need to pass on information quickly I can contact you, and when the reports go up I can share it to your Facebook page so you get it straight away.

Good luck to everyone attempting their gradings next month, I will let you know how they all got on…

Many thanks,
Del Shannon Sensei
