Finally, the children’s grading’s are here… after much anticipation and many weeks of training the week has finally arrived for the children at Ishin Ryu Jiu Jitsu’ s headquarters to try and earn their next level belt.
This week is always met with much excitement and a little trepidation, especially for those children who are grading for the first time. But as always they put their heart and souls into everything they do and it was great fun to be a part of.
I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all those students who were successful in their quest to reach the next level.
Also this month myself and Sensei Del were invited to Westfield Infant School to participate in their Olympic week, with the help of teenager Katy King.
It was with great pleasure we arrived for a day of teaching and we all had loads of fun with a huge group of enthusiastic and excited little people. Thanks to Tracy King for the invite to participate in such a great event. Let’s hope we get invited back before the next Olympics!
Alfie Thomas was the proud recipient of yet another Progress Award
As always a grading is always followed by a week of games and fun activities, its amazing how much fun can be had with a few plastic cones.
