The Domino Effect

The Domino Effect

This month saw the bulk of us partaking in a “Clean eating challenge” to raise money for our chosen charity “Hounds For Heroes”

For thirty days we were sworn off all processed food, all dairy products, wheats and grains, alcohol, sugars/sweeteners and basically anything that came in a packet! This is like a factory reset to give your body a rest from all the chemicals and sugars that are in everyday foods.

In thirty days we managed to raise £600 and lost lots of lbs in the process. Well done and congratulations to those of you that stuck it out for thirty days, commiserations to those of you that “fell off the wagon” better luck next time!

I’m sure a lot of you will take some of the healthy eating options and incorporate them in your everyday life.

This month also saw a repeat of the Annual Charity Parents night, a great turn out from the parents and an opportunity for the children to show their mums and dads what they get up to!

An absolute delight for Max, Jack and Mia who got mums, dads and aunts and uncles all in together. It was like a family gathering!!

And well done to Robbies little sister Ella who wasn’t coming in but changed her mind and joined her brother and mum in the dojo.

Well done all who came in the dojo with your offspring, this is always a great event and fun was had by all!

November is all about the gradings for the infants and juniors, as usual they have been working their proverbial socks off and as usual I have high expectations for a great week of gradings.

Make sure you all get your paperwork and licences handed in at the dojo in plenty of time.
