Well, what a month November has been. Always a busy time of year trying to cram in the last of the children’s gradings before Christmas we also hold our annual charity Family night at all the dojos. (more on that later)
So infants first…… no matter how many times they grade they are always totally committed to the job in hand and it’s always the most serious class of the month. Their concentration as they recall each move is always a sight to behold and they are always full of relief when the grading finally ends – mostly because the following week, they are rewarded with a whole lesson of games!
Secondly are the juniors, even more serious that the infants, but still the same dedication and concentration- there is nothing like a few burpees to remind students that they must learn their Japanese terminology.
Congratulations to all those students who passed on to their next belt.
As well as the gradings, normal training continues as the adults get a bit of log training thrown into their weekly workout.
Charity fun night – this is a great occasion for all involved, an opportunity for the mums, dads and siblings to come and have a try out at Ju Jitsu with their little warrior! Well done and thanks to all the family members who got involved, the children love showing off their skills and we raise money for charity at the same time -WIN WIN!
So the next report I write will be post-Christmas – so Happy Christmas from Honbu Dojo
