I would like to congratulate our students of the months for June, Alex Mioa Moraru and Amy Buckner. They have shown great commitment to their training and have really got stuck in this month. Well done and keep up the good work.

Well done to Amy Buckner as our Student of the Month for June 2015

This month we have been very lucky to have a visit from the one and only Sensei Andy. As always Sensei Andy was himself and had loads of fun acting as one of the kids! But he also taught everyone a few of his favourite techniques, which I might say are extremely painful. The class loved it, and I can’t wait to see you return Sensei. Thank you so much for your visit to the Borehamwood Dojo.

Not only do we have our grading coming up we also have the Borehamwood Parade and family’s day which we are preparing for. We have Taylor Sheean and Harrison Green preparing a demo and also Nabbrisa and Justus Badu preparing one. I must say they are looking good. I can’t wait for them to show the public.

The teenagers are also preparing for their grading which is fast approaching. They are all starting to get nervous now but I know how much hard work they have put into preparing for this, good luck to all who take part.

Next month we are going to be taking our gradings. So I would like to wish everyone taking part the best of luck I know that you will be awesome.

I would just like to remind everyone that the grading have been brought a week forward for the Saturday class as both myself and Sensei Tom are away in Hereford with Soke for the grading day. Classes will still be running on the grading day and they will be run by Sempai Mike Touhey.

  2. Good to see Mark Howel still helping to teach the children after all these years.
Lots of happy faces at Ishin Ryu Ju Jitsu’s founding Dojo – 25 years young and still one of the busiest clubs in the UK with 10 classes per week for infants, juniors, teenagers and adults…
