Borehamwood Ju Jitsu Club Parade
June 2014

The day started off in Meadow Park car park where we met up with all the other Ishin Ryu students. Everyone was excited to take part and couldn’t wait to start. Before we started I got to look around the other floats and walk in entries. It was incredible to how creative some people can be.

And we have set off!!

And we have set off!!

The walk set off at 1.45pm both parents and students alike putting on the best smiling faces and waving to the public. This year we was extremely lucky the rain held off. As we walked through Borehamwood high street, everyone was out in the masses to see the parade. The parade had everything from singing to dancing, juggling to bike riding. i personally think it was one of the best parades Borehamwood has put on in a while.

As we got round the crowds did not die down, usually it gets quite after we get through the high street, But not this year. The students were amazing as well; I didn’t hear one complaint of being tired or wanting to sit in the car for a rest, Big well done to you all.

As the parade came to the end, me and Sempai Tom decided to surprise everyone with a medal for taking part in the parade. I would just like to thank everyone who took part in the day it was a fantastic day and each and every one off you made it a success. Also I would like to thank Mark Howel for driving his car around with all the bottles of water for everyone.
