Aldenham Report Wednesday December 2014 by Sempai Jack

Well done to Thomas Ashby for being awarded student of the month.

It has been a great month at Aldenham. I am happy to announce since we opened the club in October, it has gone from strength to strength. We currently have 7 infants and 6 juniors. Who are all enjoying training with Ishin Ryu. I would like to welcome our newest member who has just joined us Leony Simpson. I hope you enjoy training with us.
I would also like to say a massive well done to Thomas Ashby for being awarded Student of the Month – you have worked really hard and you definitely deserve to wear that belt. Well done and keep up the good work.
This month we have been very lucky to have had a visit from Sempai Tom. Both the infants and the juniors loved Sempai Tom’s lesson and they thought he was a great teacher. We can’t wait to see you again at some point in the New Year. From everyone at the Aldenham Dojo I would like to say thank you for a fantastic lesson.
The infants have started from the basics as they are all new, we have been going over fighting stances and ground hold. The class have been doing so well that we have moved on to some throwing techniques. Which everyone is enjoying. For the last lesson of the year we have been having fun. The class took part in some team games and dodge ball which everyone enjoyed. Well done to everyone this year. I can’t wait to see you all next year.
The juniors have been going over some grappling techniques and been building their grappling skills. Everyone has been enjoying their lessons. As it has been the last month we have also been playing more games than usual, trying some team building activities and dodge ball one of the class’s favourite games to play. I hope you all have a fantastic Christmas and a very Happy New Year.
