Brand new Aldenham Dojo

Brand new Aldenham Dojo

What a fantastic month we have had at Aldenham, with a great response from the local community. Starting off, I would like to say welcome to Shiv-Ansh Chawad who was our first student to sign up at Aldenham dojo. I hope you enjoy training with us.

As this is a completely new dojo, we have started off with the basics learning our breakfalls and fighting stances. The class has picked this up quickly. On top of this, we have been learning some basic ground holds such as side control and side four quarters. The infant class have picked these techniques up really quickly and I think they are all going to be experts in no time.
The junior’s class have started off the same. We have also started to learn the Major Outer Reap throw. This is a technique used to take your opponent to the floor quickly. Well done to everyone who has been a part of the first couple of months off the Aldenham Dojo. I am sure this will go down in the history books.
I look forward to seeing every one next month at the dojo.
